Compac Sorting is the world’s leading technology provider of automation solutions to the fruit and produce industry. Their solutions use infrared scanning, high speed cameras, lasers to automate and accelerate the sorting and packing of fruit and vegetables. Their mission is to enable its customers to improve returns, gain operation efficiencies and ensure a safe food supply via the application of smart technologies.
Compac had been recently acquired by a large Norwegian technology company called Tomra and was looking to create a leadership team for the North American region.
This assignment had significant importance with the global CEO overseeing the recruitment of the key management positions.
Engage created a tailored retained project to recruit 4 key management positions in Southern California. 4 searches were run simultaneously with a close partnership being driven between the North American General Manager and the Engage team.
This assignment involved understanding the critical skillsets for the desired positions and the culture of the organization, both current and ideal future state. Key competitors were mapped along with strong adjacent industries to provide both in market and alternative talent options from which to select the top candidates.
Engage advised the North American GM throughout the process and provided a highly screened, prepped and engaged talent pool to interview and select from.
Engage placed the 4 key leadership positions across Sales, Customer Success, Finance and HR and the executives now shape the future of the organization.
I have been a client of Engage PSG since the second half of 2017 working with Jeremy MacLeod. Jeremy has helped to secure several senior managers and leaders into our organization as we worked to turn around and strengthen our organization. Personable and flexible, Jeremy found strong talent to whom he represented our business very well. Candidates came to us both excited and accurately informed on the status of the business and the journey we are on.
The people we recruited through Jeremy have been fantastic and made a significant impact on our business, happy to recommend
