The Challenge

Our contact had recently been promoted to head up and expand the sales operation in the UK, Marin had enjoyed a significant period of growth in London and with well-established partners were looking to broaden their coverage within both Search and Social marketplace.

We had a long standing relationship with our contact which gave opportunity for Engage and Marin to meet and establish a strategy to deliver on multiple hires within their sales team.

The Challenge

The Solution

After meeting with the Management and Recruitment teams we were able to establish a mapped shortlist of Digital sales people. Our team have a very established network of sales professionals within SaaS and Digital markets which offered us good traction to meet the urgency of their hiring strategy. It was critical that this short list could be effective within their probation period, track record of performance was key.

The outcome

Our campaign was mid financial year, it was key that individuals would be able to deliver on target expectations that financial year. We ensured that all prospects had been able to provide evidence of their success and sales figures to date which in turn added confidence and led to Engage delivering on all open vacancies.

Steve and I have known one another for many years so I was keen to have him on our PSL as we’d struggled with quality candidates.
We gave Steve two roles to address, one within our Paid Social and the other our Paid Search market – both had been demanding to fill.
Steve acted swiftly and introduced a small group of candidates he’d met with, we took all parties to final interview offering two positions within a 6 week period.
An exacting approach which cut down time and awarded us with people we have high hopes for the future.
The difference for me is that Steve listens and gives a very accurate picture to the candidate at point allowing me to make the most of my time.
