Client Background
Hawk:AI was founded in Munich in 2018 by Wolfgang Berner and Tobias Schweiger and aims to become the new “gold standard” in AML worldwide.
Munich Headquartered, Series A stage, Hawk:AI secured $10m funding in 2021 from Blackfin Capital and are intending using the funding to build out commercially across the US and Europe.
Using AI/machine learning the Hawk:AI solutions create automated solutions for those repetitive actions taken by the compliance and risk teams, taking care of those decisions which can be automated, thus saving time and money for their customers while not compromising on the risk of non-regulatory compliance.
The Challenge
The business is in its early stage, Series A and through both innovation with their product suite developing a platform in addition to their core growth plans, they identified a need for an Executive General Manager to build out the business in the US.
The Solution
Kevin Cruickshank, CEO of Engage PSG Search was retained due to his experience in Fraud and Digital Identity and we conducted a full marketing identification, validation, headhunting and referencing process across the US to find the right person.
