Pre-Sales Consultant

Engage PSG is partnered with a high-growth technology business operating within the financial crime and compliance space, supporting some of the world’s leading financial institutions.

As part of their continued growth, they are looking to hire a Pre-Sales Consultant to sit at the intersection of sales, product, and client delivery, helping translate complex technical solutions into clear, commercially relevant value for customers.


The Role

Working closely with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams, you’ll play a key role in shaping how solutions are positioned and delivered during the sales process.

This is a highly visible role where you’ll be involved in everything from early-stage discovery through to proof of concept, ensuring clients understand both the technical capability and the business impact of the solution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales to understand client requirements and business objectives across banking and financial services

  • Design and position tailored solutions aligned to client challenges and future needs

  • Deliver bespoke product demonstrations and solution presentations

  • Support RFP processes, including proposal development and business case creation

  • Lead proof of concept (POC) engagements, coordinating internal technical and compliance teams

  • Assess and communicate risk factors associated with proposed solutions

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the sales cycle

  • Provide market and client feedback to Product teams to support roadmap development


Experience Required

  • 5+ years’ experience in Pre-Sales, Technical Sales, Consulting, or Customer Success within a B2B environment

  • Strong ability to translate technical concepts into clear, commercially relevant messaging

  • Experience working with financial services clients (banking, payments, etc.)

  • Exposure to AML, fraud, or compliance solutions is highly advantageous

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems)

  • Fluent German and English language skills
