Head of Professional Services & Consulting

Engage PSG is working with a growing AI-led business in the financial crime space, which is looking for a Head of Professional Services & Consulting to take responsibility for how clients are implemented, supported, and ultimately get value from the platform.

The product is complex, the clients are demanding, and the expectations are high, so this needs someone who can bring structure to delivery, build a strong team, and make sure projects land properly.


The Role

You’ll lead the professional services function end-to-end, from defining the service offering through to delivery and ongoing client engagement. That includes building out the services portfolio, improving how projects are delivered, and ensuring consistency across teams and regions.

You’ll also work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success, making sure what’s sold, built, and delivered all lines up.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the strategy for the Professional Services and Consulting function

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of services (implementation, customisation, training, advisory)

  • Oversee delivery to ensure projects meet client expectations and are delivered to a high standard

  • Build, lead, and develop a team of consultants, project managers, and technical specialists

  • Work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure alignment across the customer lifecycle

  • Build relationships with key clients and act as a senior point of contact where needed

  • Establish clear processes, metrics, and tools to track delivery performance and improve efficiency

  • Represent the business externally with clients, partners, and at industry events


What They’re Looking For

  • 10+ years’ experience in professional services or consulting within a technology environment

  • Background in areas such as cybersecurity, fraud, or AML is highly relevant

  • Experience building and leading high-performing delivery teams

  • Strong understanding of how to structure and scale a services function

  • Experience working with enterprise clients and managing complex implementations

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders

  • Comfortable working across teams and influencing different parts of the business

  • Experience working in international or distributed team environments

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and delivery frameworks
